Gordon D. Miller, Owner In 1984, Mr. Miller founded UNIGLOBE Premiere Travel Planners Inc., initially specializing in corporate travel management. Within eight years, the company was recognized as one of Ottawa's top ten independently owned and operated travel agencies, and has frequently been designated the "Agency of the Year" by UNIGLOBE in Eastern Canada. Mr. Miller is actively involved full-time in the management and operation of UNIGLOBE Premiere Travel Planners Inc. Within UNIGLOBE Travel, Mr. Miller has been appointed annually since 1986, to the "Chairman's Circle", an advisory board to UNIGLOBE Travel (International) Inc. He has served for two terms as the President of the UNIGLOBE Franchise Owners Association for Eastern Canada. He has provided travel management advisory services to a range of corporate and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of policy development and effective use of management information. Based on his experience in wilderness expeditions Mr. Miller in conjunction with his partners founded Premiere Adventures and Sports, a new division of UNIGLOBE Premiere Travel Planners Inc. specializing in planning and conducting group adventure trips. Prior to founding UNIGLOBE Premiere Travel, Mr. Miller directed and personally conducted a broad range of management consulting engagements for public and private sector organizations in the areas of feasibility studies, information systems planning, development and implementation, computer facilities planning, management organization, information systems auditing and travel management policies and procedures.
