Katy L. Miller, Manager, Adventures & Sports Ms. Miller is a seasoned wilderness guide with strong credentials in wilderness safety, survival, rescue and first aid. She is an experienced sales and customer service professional with a background in the fitness industry. Her educational background includes degrees in Outdoor Recreation, Parks & Tourism, and in Geography from Lakehead University. Ms. Miller has been associated with The Premiere Travel Group since 1993. In the summers of 1995 and 1996, on assignment with Sunrise County Canoe Expeditions Inc., she was an apprentice guide on numerous whitewater trips in Canada’s Far North, Quebec and Maine. In 1997, Ms. Miller became a licensed guide with Nahanni River Adventures. She has lead trips on Canada’s premiere wilderness rivers – including the Stikine, the North Saskatchewan and the legendary Nahanni River. Ms. Miller is a "hands-on" manager in Premiere Adventures and Sports. She is personally involved in outfitter selection and product development with a particular focus on safety and environmental issues. As well, she has been a trip leader and guide on numerous trips.
